“The lodge we chose was perfect, it had a hedged private garden & the hot tub was under cover should there be anu rain. The only thing to bear in mind is there is no shop on site and nearest is about 5 mins drive away.
But in all the site is amazing, great views, quiet, well laid out, both pet & family friendly site.

“We stayed for three nights in Snowy Lodge. Check in was easy, your keys are left in an envelope in the small reception, theres a map on the wall to tell you where to go. Take note with regards to check in and check out. Hotels.com states check in at 5 o'clock when its actually between 4 and 5 and check out at 9 when its actually 9:30 to 10.
The lodge was clean and quiet with great views down the valley.
Getting into the hot tub when we came back from visiting the local sites was a joy, lying……
“The accommodation had been double booked but they still went above and beyond to find a resolution and we did in fact stay at this lovely property. Our room was immaculate, the bathroom was stunning with the most amazing bath and shower! The food at their restaurant was “to die for”. It just melted in the mouth and service was excellent. We really enjoyed the beer garden and chatting to some of the local people, who met us with warm welcoming smiles. Would definitely stay here again!!”
“Our fourth stay at the Metropole in recent years.A privilege to stay in such a unique historic building,with yes a little patina around the edges.If you dont embrace the nostalgia then budget chain's are available.The staff here are so good,as is the breakfast and the pool and spa facility.A great location for roadtrips around mid Wales,and a huge car park.”
“The best part was the breakfast, very good and very polite individual.
The room was cold, no hot water to shower, no one around to solve the issue. All in house amenities not in use. No bar. No service, no contact.
It's 2 miles from town, so taxi us essential.
It's the sort of place that picture perfect... But you'll only go once.
