“This location is very far removed from St. Helena (25min) even though the address states St. Helena. It’s an old and rather rundown farm. The hostess was rude when I tried to cancel after finding out by a colleague that this was not an ideal place since I was traveling alone and the location has no internet, cellphone signal and it’s really in the middle of nowhere. Since the hostess did not allow me to cancel past her 30 day cancellation policy, I had no option but go. Oh yeah, after she hung……

“Friendly folks who give you a big breakfast in the morning. There's no A/C, but you can plug a surprisingly fast ice machine in for a cold drink, and really the ceiling fans are enough. The power went out (PG&E, ugh) but it came back in about an hour. It is a rare occurrence so I guess we got lucky. They gave us some lights just in case.The only thing that did bother me was the broken screens. The screens on the doors seem off the rails, and the window above our bed had a bent screen with a wasp……

“We had a lovely stay at the Inn on Pine. Our room was clean and spacious and had everything you could need. The pool area was clean and a lovely space to spend an afternoon in the sun. And the fresh chocolate chip cookies each day were delicious! Its just a 5 minute walk to downtown Calistoga so was a great location, too.”
