“We had a perfect stay and this beautiful property that was even better than the listing in our view! The location is awesome, with fantastic hikes at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park just minutes away, and all kinds of dining and drinking options nearby. The creek is incredibly soothing and helps this sanctuary feel even more remote, despite the proximity to all the area has to offer. Great value, great hosts, and an ideal experience for our small group - highly recommended!”

“Friendly folks who give you a big breakfast in the morning. There's no A/C, but you can plug a surprisingly fast ice machine in for a cold drink, and really the ceiling fans are enough. The power went out (PG&E, ugh) but it came back in about an hour. It is a rare occurrence so I guess we got lucky. They gave us some lights just in case.The only thing that did bother me was the broken screens. The screens on the doors seem off the rails, and the window above our bed had a bent screen with a wasp……

“We unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Shortly after check-in, my daughter was the first to arrive and, while turning on lights throughout the house, saw a large rat run across the room. We immediately contacted the property manager, and someone came out and appeared surprised, referring to it as a “mouse.” We were told it was likely due to rural living and possibly because a door had been left open by housekeeping. Mouse traps and peanut butter were left for us. However, as we……
