The first time with my wife. She loved it. Returned by myself to visit my son a freshman at SLU. This is a great location to visit student, a business trip, nearby event it is conveniently located to so many things and even great restaurants within walking distance. The apartments have full kitchen, well stocked with everything needed. Washer and dryer in unit also and comfortable bed. Brandon the host is attentive and a great communicator. The molding and corners clearly had not been cleaned in some time (see pictures).In addition, there was a note on the outside of the property that said there was a boil ordinance in the building. The property management had not reached out to tell us this and, with loaded arms, had we not seen the small sign, we could have become very ill. I reached out to the management to ask and they said “yes we did get an advisory”. Ok….why would you not tell us that?! This is a matter of personal health and safety! To make matters wayyyyy worse, there was no offer to drop off water or suggestion where to find clean water and nothing on the entire block was open! So we drank some La Croix we thankfully had in our cooler. The final straw for us was that we were notified when we were out of the apartment that someone would be entering our space to “check the window seals”. Since we were at a museum, we didn’t see it and they entered without our response or approval. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. No seal requires such immediate attention. High service fees for poor communication about parking and absolutely unacceptable safety protocols for entering our space and drinking water. It appeared to me the apartment had not been rented out for some time, but no one came to clean it before I arrived. Lastly, the automated text messages from the host becomes annoying. The location of the condo was very convenient against my office. The building seems quite new and cool. The condo was beautiful and spotless.
