"2nd visit. Cottage redecorated and kitchen re-equipped since last year. Some minor quibbles (no veg or bread knives) but nothing to stop us booking in the future."

"Very well done in 2020 I believe. Clean and comfortable with literally everything you would need kit wise. Goats were a delight! Steve the host was very friendly and knowledgeable on the area."

"Beautiful house, super clean with all the amenities you could wish for. There is no WiFi however. The host said there was internet through the telly but there wasn’t and he then stopped communicating whilst we were trying to sort it out."

"Just so comfortable, brilliant layout and amenities. Close to City, countryside, East coast beaches and local pubs. Fabulously safe for dogs (as long as they are used to noise from near neighbours in similar holiday home complex)"

Owner went the extra mile both in making contact ahead of our stay and also in decorating the house for Easter which was an unexpected but welcome touch. "First time in Newbiggin and enjoyed it, the town has plenty of resources- a corner shop just round the corner and pubs, takeaways, cafes and a couple of restaurants, a small craft ale bar too. There’s going to be a new bar/café opening any day now just over the road down on the beach which will be handy (and as it’s low down shouldn’t cause any problems).
