Spectacular Catskill Mountain River Front Custom Log Home

"We had a lovely getaway at this house along the Delaware River. We appreciated the super comfortable master bedroom and the spacious, well-stocked kitchen (the only thing we needed and didn't have were paper towels), not to mention the spectacular Delaware River views and direct access to the river for kayaking. We didn't need to test how communication with the owner was because everything in the house was flawless, but her fast responses at the beginning and end of our stay inspired confidence. While the river setting seems remote, there is also very easy access (within 1.5 miles) to a supermarket, a Walgreens, several convenience stores and an excellent diner (which was willing to deliver to us). It's perhaps worth noting that the bathroom is a tight squeeze for a person who isn't thin, and the neighbor's dog is very eager to greet new visitors to the block, but neither issue really affected our stay. The three days of peace with a beautiful river backdrop were really appreciated."

"Clean, friendly location. Really enjoyed our stay. Next time we will be better prepared to Kayak the Delaware and be able to head out directly from the cabin. There is an outdoor security camera on the porch that guests should know is present. Thank you for opening your cabin to us!"

"I think the property was very modern and clean. It’s obviously very new. I have no complaints about the amenities or the place itself. I think it’s absolutely lovely. The only thing I would recommend is a little better description on how to get in. The keypad lock is tricky if you’re not used to that type of device since it’s not only that you have to get a code, but you have to also hit another button in a certain sequence. Explaining that in the welcome instructions would be helpful especially because during a night arrival it can be confusing if you’re even at the right place or at the right door when that code doesn’t work at first. This is a very minor point but would just be helpful But I can’t stress enough, how well thought out the design and the amenities are of this place. Also, the environment was super peaceful being right on the river. I wish that my son and I had more time to spend at this location. Anyone who stays here will absolutely be very pleased."

"Not many Motels are excellent but this one was way above what we expected. Private outdoor seating for each room. Nice bathroom and great kitchette with a decent size mini fridge/freezer was a nice surprise. We were greeted with s'mores 'round a campfire on Friday night. Come on that's cute as heck. I heard from a reliable source that the place is undergoing "upgrades". We didn't hear a thing."

"Super enjoyable place for large families. We have a family retreat almost yearly. Our family is large and we have rented from Myrtle Beach to Moosehead lake, and truly i think this is our favorite spot. Its elevation allows a beautiful constant breeze, big country valley viewing, and great star skapes. Bonus, no ticks nor mosquitos. House has everything, big open layout. Plenty of sleeping areas, 2 large kitchens. Large open floor plan. Kids loved the pool table. Private pond offered great swimming and fishing. Large open outdoor areas are great for family functions. Place is remote with plenty of privacy. We are all looking forward to coming again. Thanks to hostess Scott and Ann, our stay was great!"
