"Although the host is helpful and accommodated my early check in request. The apartment didn’t had a control for the AC and if there was any we didn’t feel it and the apartment was hot. The parking was shared and the other guest waked us up at 6:30 am so we could move the car. The apartment floors had a type of oily substance that smelled like dog pee/chemical/old sweat (could tell the difference) and was dangerous with my slippers-I slide twice. We stayed in Cologne for two days, and we needed somewhere to sleep and park our car while we roamed the city on foot or public transport. The Ameron was an excellent choice. Easy to find by car, and right next to the tram station, with just 5 stops away from the city center. The hotel serves a very nice German breakfast, and the staff at the reception were very helpful with some tourist tips and information. This is now definitely my go-to hotel for my next visit to Cologne.
