Blue Ridge Mountain Inn

"This is NOT a high end hotel, but it is very cozy. The overall appearance of the place was nice. Check in was easy. There are no room keys, but a pin/code. Luckily, the employee had it written down. We were told that it was sent to me, but I did not receive it. The location is very convenient...it's at the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We stayed in room #3. The room was nicely updated. The shower head definitely needs replaced. The air conditioner is in the bathroom. It cooled down but was very cold in the bathroom and didn't quite make it out into the room. It was loud. The floor needs a good cleaning. The bottoms of our feet were pretty dirty from walking barefoot in the room. Overall, it's a nice place to stay. We would recommend it. Not sure if we will be in the area again, but this would be our pick to stay at again. Minutes from the hotel are several shops/restaurants/gas stations."
Pilot Mountain Glamping Resort

"Pilot Mountain Glamping Resort was a great weekend retreat for my fiancé’s birthday. Great location. We hiked at Hanging Rock State Park. We really enjoyed the deck with the Blackstone Griddle and fire pit. We had pancakes and bacon off the griddle for breakfast one morning, and hotdogs for dinner one night. S’mores later that evening over the fire pit topped off a great day. Jack was responsive to the only issue we raised and it was quickly resolved."

"The room smelled great and was very clean, I booked online and got a great deal for 3 nights, the outside pool unfortunately is not available but all in all a great stay. Will definitely stay again in the future"

"We selected this hotel based on the recent reviews, combined with the fact that the room was cheaper than the Hampton, where we usually stay when traveling. The housekeeping staff was so sweet, front desk check-in staff was very friendly, and the breakfast staff was super helpful, friendly, and kept everything maintained throughout breakfast (clean, refilled, etc.). I wish there had been a non-pork protein/meat option, but realize that may be on me. Coffee was delicious. We liked having extra parking room out back so we could see our vehicle from the room. A/C worked great. Wish there had been smart TVs in the room; cable sucks these days lol. Very convenient location. Quiet rooms; did not hear neighbors and we were right near the elevator and did not hear a single thing!"
