“This is NOT a high end hotel, but it is very cozy. The overall appearance of the place was nice. Check in was easy. There are no room keys, but a pin/code. Luckily, the employee had it written down. We were told that it was sent to me, but I did not receive it. The location is very convenient...it's at the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We stayed in room #3. The room was nicely updated. The shower head definitely needs replaced. The air conditioner is in the bathroom. It cooled……

“We selected this hotel based on the recent reviews, combined with the fact that the room was cheaper than the Hampton, where we usually stay when traveling. “The pictures on Expedia was totally different than in person. The pool wasn't open, there was a cover on it and there was trash and filth on pool cover and in pool area. “Pilot Mountain Glamping Resort was a great weekend retreat for my fiancé’s birthday. Great location. We hiked at Hanging Rock State Park. We really enjoyed the deck with the Blackstone Griddle and fire pit. We had pancakes and bacon off the griddle for breakfast one morning, and hotdogs for dinner one night. S’mores later that evening over the fire pit topped off a great day. Jack was responsive to the only issue we raised and it was quickly resolved.”
