“This is NOT a high end hotel, but it is very cozy. The overall appearance of the place was nice. Check in was easy. There are no room keys, but a pin/code. Luckily, the employee had it written down. We were told that it was sent to me, but I did not receive it. The location is very convenient...it's at the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We stayed in room #3. The room was nicely updated. The shower head definitely needs replaced. The air conditioner is in the bathroom. It cooled……

“The pictures on Expedia was totally different than in person. The pool wasn't open, there was a cover on it and there was trash and filth on pool cover and in pool area. There was trash on concrete outside of the rooms. I was traveling with a church friend and my parents, so we had 2 different rooms. My parents had to get their pillow case changed because there was black stuff all over them. Myself and our friend stayed in the other room, there was no door on the bathroom and the hot water knob……

“This was a fantastic property and much nicer than being at a hotel for a week. The grounds are really pretty and the neighborhood is nice for walks. Erin was amazing and it was nice to have coffee in the morning, breakfast provided if you wanted it and a really quiet experience. Note that this is a house from the 1950s and modern amenities are there, but it's definitely like traveling back in time a little bit”
