I checked in late and didn’t turn on lights just tv. When I woke up in the morning I saw a black little bug that looked like a bed bug, then i saw blood in the sheets. I checked myself thinking I got bit, but nothing. I showered and left early. Reported to manager and showed her pics. Because i booked with expedia they couldn’t help just apologies and told me to call expedia to call her directly. Expedia attempted maybe 30min after checking out and no one answered. Then emails started with expedia trying to get in touch with them and nothing. Im getting a $25 credit to use towards future expedia. No thanks! I have a super busy upcoming year with travel and will look elsewhere to Book.

This is an interesting property and I have visited twice over several years. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The atmosphere is serene and quiet. My room overlooked a lake, meaning the door to my room was glass and I stepped out onto a sidewalk on the edge of a lake. It is a "resort" that has family home sites for sale. Most of the lots have not been sold. So it has the feel of a vacant development without much progress. The restaurant is in an open space in the lobby area - Not what you would expect looking at the menu. Overall, the grounds and buildings were not as kept up this trip as compared to my last several years ago. Some of the trails are currently under renovation. But I enjoyed 5-6 miles runs both days. The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed my stay. It is nice for a quiet getaway or needed downtime.
