A few things that would improve overall visit- the green emergency light above the bedroom door casts light into the room all night and really impacts sleep for people who need a dark room? It was rather like having a nightlight you could not switch off. Would also be nice to have more than one towel and a mirror in the bedroom to dry hair. "Service was very good, I was welcomed by the owner and made to feel welcome. I was shown to my room and given info on the heating, breakfast times etc. Breakfast was served by a polite and pleasant lady, the breakfast itself was very nice (I opted for the traditional English). "All was good with our stay however we only had one towel and one cup/ hospitality items- we raised this as we left and were told they didn’t know 2 people were staying although said : on Booking Also we were surprised to be charged £10 for onsite parking just for one night it seemed excessive "

"We felt that the owners were not enthusiastic hosts. We were not shown half the facilities shown on the website, jut our room and the breakfast room. The breakfasts were average to poor (a dreadful poached egg ruined the smoked salmon it was served with). The TV in our room did not work, the picture was pixellated on all channels.."

"Lovely stay for a weekend, can imagine in the Summer how enjoyable it must be. Lots of animals to feed, check-in basket is super cute, attention to detail leaving us easter eggs (we went on Easter) in the property and by the hen eggs too!
