“This is a perfect place to relax and unwind if you're looking for peace and gorgeous farmland. Lots of footpaths nearby, including a nature preserve. A car is necessary to get to nearby attractions like Stonor Park or Waddeston but it would be possible to spend a long weekend here and walk to a nearby pub or creamery that makes decision cheese. Lots of farm stands too, to stock up on locally raised produce. We used the kitchen a lot and found it adequate for all our needs. The family is lovely……

“This is a perfect little characterful bolt hole for a break away from the hustle and bustle. Well equipped with everything you need for a short stay. We ate out, but the kitchen was well equipped for those who want to make meals.The cottage has a lovely garden that gets sundhine for most of the day.Cute villiage on the doorstep with a few restaurant options, but plan ahead as not everything's open every day of the week.”

“Good facilities and a wood burner makes this a very cosy spot for a winter stay. Well located for the bus into Oxford and other walking routes to some nice local pubs. Nice to have friendly peacocks and peahens roaming the garden but they did make quite a mess on our car. It would have been useful to have known about this before the stay so that we could have brought suitable cleaning products.”
