Oh my word! This place was a fantastic experience for my family as we had traveled from the States for the first time. We had a 3 bedroom/2 bath room with 2 balconies! We could see Sydney Harbour! The tram was only one block away (downhill going, but a steep incline back). We had a person in a wheelchair, so it was a little of a struggle to navigate. Hotel was safe, clean, and the staff were so very friendly! I would highly recommend this for a family on holiday.

Good condition of the rooms but bit old however it was good to use We seem like to lost our shopping stuff in the room. When we r back from shopping, room was cleaned and we found one of our stuff missing and unable to find it I reported asap but havent heard anything from them I gave up anyway..other than..overally good to stay

We were unlucky and got a room that is yet to be re furnished. Chipped paint & marks on the walls. Scratchy blankets. The bathroom was aged. A shame - good size apartments. If you choose to stay here , try a request a new apartment - ours certainly was not ‘luxury’ as described. Expect 3 star at best for decor - lovely lady on the front desk though.

This apartment hotel is wonderful. It is near transportation, food, shopping, groceries, wharf, tours and much more. The front desk staff could be a bit more pleasant, but the housekeeping staff make up for it as they were amazing and kind. The three bedroom is very spacious and the views from the balconies are spectacular. When I am in Sydney, I will stay here again.

Great 1-bed unit with living, dining, kitchen and separate bedroom at a good price, fantastic location with fabulous views! Very friendly and welcoming staff, nice lobby and quaint (heated) pool & spa with separate sauna. Only challenging aspect of our stay would be the very limited 'available' parking and the odd/obscure entry thereto. Otherwise a 10-out-of-10 for us. We would most definitely stay here again and actually plan to the next time we need to stay in Sydney CBD.

Second time staying at The York, the room was clean tidy and comfortable, Circular Quay and Darling harbour are within walking distance and with Wynard station only 120m awayyou can get anywhere.

Excellent nightly rate and close to The Rocks and Pitt Street. Apartment style suite with two TVs with Foxtel. But the windows were not double glazed and the noise from the traffic on the street below was unreal!! We bought earplugs to stiffle the noise at night.

Great location but there was no-one at the desk on arrival. Rang the bell but no-one came, so phoned the number on the sign located on the desk and reached an answering machine. Room was very spacious but the couch was very stained. Otherwise it was good.

Lady at the reception with blue hair and eyes was lovely when we checked in at 10pm. Instructions to find parking was easy. Hotel 2-3min walk to Wynyard station. The hotel is a little old and could definitely use some TLC but overall, I would say pretty value for money.

I really liked this hotel. They were able to get me an early check-in, which was very welcome after 22 hours of flying. I stayed twice in the span of a week, and was also able to store my luggage between stays. The rooms were huge, and had nice balconies. The shower was excellent (showers are a big deal for me). There were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, as was Darling Harbor. I’d def purely stay there again. I just gave to figure out how to get back to Australia.
