I requested a handicap accessible room which I received in a roundabout way - because my flight came in before 3:00 Expedia booked an early check in, which I confirmed. The receptionist argued such a booking was not possible. She finally conceded that since we're there we would have to take a handicap room as those were the only ones available. The room was nice in that there was plenty of space to get around in my wheelchair, but the washbasin faucet was extremely difficult to operate and the basin stopper was broken. Alsothere was no seat in the shower. The cherry on the sundae was the ants we found in the morning. So the hotel gets a B+ for comfort (the bed was very nice) and a D- for staff courtesy.

You Get What You Pay!!Posted Apr 16, 2017
Pros: That is is near McDonald's where we got decent breakfast.
Cons: Complete renovation.
The whole overnight stay was like a bad dream; small parking slots, clerk will not give us a ground floor because we booked through 3rd party(Expedia), cigarette butts on the stairs, overflowing garbage bins on the hallway, smelly room, bouncy mattress, black mold spots on shower crevices, and last, cannot be issued a folio because we again booked through 3rd party. By the way, don't even bother checking out their free continental breakfast.

Not worth the price to stay inPosted Mar 30, 2017
We stayed at days inn and it wasn't at all what we expected it to be. The hairdryer did not work and it smelled of smoke even though it was a smoke free room. The pictures on the website don't portray the actual rooms, they are worse in person. I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

The price was a reflection of the qualityPosted Mar 21, 2017
Bitter sweet!! We were in federal way for a swim meet. The location to the King Aquatic Center was fantastic. However, it was close to a busy intersection. Unless you left early am, you'd find it hard to turn left (the most direct way to the pool). And turning into the hotel would have its own issues. But we did it. Check in was fine. Room looked fine. Bathroom was not well waterproofed. Sink faucet was seriously hard to pull up, so we were splashing water everywhere after we struggled to turn the tap on. Shower head leaked, which was reflected. In the wall paper and dry wall damage. My MAJOR disappointments: Smoky smell in non-smoking room. Due to busy swim meet, i had to stay in the room one night. We decided on not leaving because we smelled smoke outside as well, which made us think the problem would follow us. We tried ventilating the room. But there was no mesh on the windows, so it could not be done when we were there. And it got cold when we were there with open windows. The ac/heater did not work, so we could not warm up or use the fan to circulate the air. Unreliable WiFi!! Even though they had about 4 wifi signals, we could not stay connected to them for long. Laptops did not connect at all. So data on our phone went way up. We were there for 4 days. Was not interested in trying the breakfast. We were next to Burger King and there was traffic rolling through. Overall, we had a place to sleep, but I would not return.

Perfect hotel close to Weyerhaeuser PoolPosted Mar 14, 2017
Pros: Cleanliness, cozy beddings, amenities and most of all, the staffs were very nice and professional.
Cons: No comment
Location: Our destination is often to Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center, where multiple swim clubs have their meet competitions throughout the year.
A perfect hotel close to Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Pool, where my 12 year old competes at various levels of swim meet competitions often. The hotel is very well loved by my family. Room is very cozy with lovely colored beddings and with all needed amenities for a comfortable stay. Great price and professional staffs. We will be returning in a couple of weeks for another swim meet; and so far, this will be our #1 choice hotel for future stays in Federal Way, WA.

Close to freeway and noisyPosted Feb 12, 2017
We reserved a room with King bed but when we checked in we were told that they had to switch us to a room with two double beds. The room smelled strongly of bleach/cleaner. The lamp between the beds did not have a switch to turn it on due to being removed. The lamp that worked was across the room from the beds. After the second time the toilet was used, it was ready to overflow. Staff had to find a plunger then called us to come down to office to get it. The motel seemed to be home to several people that were hanging out drinking and smoking and the place was noisy from them and traffic. I will not stay there again.
