The room was cozy. Friendly staff at check in. Wish we had more pillows in the room. Wish pool and spa were not down for maintenance. Wish we knew about pool and spa when we booked the room.

Apparently someone cancelled our reservation that morning. Not Expedia. The staff were super unhelpful, said..you need to call Expedia, but in the end, it was thier fault. We were told that the person who cancelled our reservation must have been " in a bad mood" No apologies, no compensation, but Expedia customer service was amazing even after Emerald Queen Hotel desk putting them on hold for about 20 minutes. I was standing in front of the desk with customer service on the phone and watched the reception put the phone on hold and there were 3 people working and no line if people waiting. In fact, the gentleman said....Im going on break to his co worker as he was helping us and walked away. Pretty ridiculous. Very unfriendly. Don't think I will ever stay here again.

Beautiful hotel! Very clean & love the decor. The ends were elite hotel status. The newness of this hotel is a delight!! The pool area was stunning and very well kept. Will definitely stay here again when in Tacoma. However only complaint is they didn’t allow for a late check out and did know on the door once as we were packing up. They describe your key at checkout time. Annoying
