The evening shift Af-Am male with braided hair was inhospitable. He blamed me for card key that didn’t work 2x. He said “you put it close to phone!” I brought the card key to him and he saw it on top of my leather wallet with the phone below it. To think, the key was not working even before I brought it to him. Also, the key always stays in my wallet inside the protective sleeve that comes with it. He blame me twice for the defective key. Likewise, he scolded my son who came to meet us because he forgot to leave an ID. We came to Tacoma to visit my son who is stationed at JBLM so, he run towards me when I called him and forgot about the ID. I said sorry but he said “I told you to wait!” He grab my son’s ID and slightly slam it on the counter. His tone of voice is higher than normal, like half of yelling voice every time you talk to him.

Very confusing getting into property, security guard out front was rude YES this place needs a security guard! Very sketchy area and the building you stay in door never locks and times left open all night. Elevator smells like a homeless person sleeps in it, garbage overflowing and everywhere on walk path from lobby to rooms. Lobby pics make it look like this place is nice..NOPE! We were booked for 3 night and the gave us 1 night worth of towels and were rude when asking for more. PASS on this place

There was very limited food selection for two of the four days we stayed here. The room keys kept failing. And for half of our stay, there was no Internet within the entire facility. Because we had booked several nights, it took a lot of effort to make sure that we could keep our same room and not have to switch rooms mid stay. And lastly, one of the nights someone from the front desk banged on our door to wake us up, middle of the night to check and see if our room was occupied or not. I do not plan on staying here again

The hotel is promoted as a Non-Smoking facility. When we finally got our room, we walked in and it smelled like someone was using cigarettes as inscents, you could see the nicotine caked onto the walls. Im 8mos pregnant. My husband has asthma. We were on a business endeavor, so we didnt take any of our luggage down bc we didnt want our suits and blazers smelling foul. When i asked if we could change our room because of the serious Health concern it imposed on both my husband and I, we werent greeted with any kind of solution &; we were basically told to suck it up bc they couldnt help us due to booking through a 3rd Party.

Quality Inn & Suites Tacoma-Seattle is the worst hotel I have been to in the last 30 years. No internet, no TV. It was like a prison! The only redeeming person was an African-American reception associate who went over and above the call of duty to help make the prison-like condition livable. Breakfast was good though.

Did not look like the pictures. Breakfast was awful, a pitcher of milk and costco orange juice with a few options. Floors filthy, room chair was so dirty you didn’t want to sit on it, bathroom tiles broken and drywall above shower coming apart. Exterior doors of building did not lock, and were open. Homeless in the building and stairwell

Area was untrustworthy. Front desk staff got in a cussing match infront of my kids during breakfast. No rolling bed i requested prior to checking in, it was given to someone who checked in after me. Feet were black from carpets.

This is not a 5 Star hotel, and is in a rough area. Now that we are past that, the hotel itself is decent. The room we had was spacious, the bed was comfortable. (Soft) It had a bathtub, with shower. The A/C unit kept the room cool(albeit it was working hard). Breakfast was decent, but the room the food is served is very small, so can get pretty crowded. Overall, I would stay here again.

The staff was super friendly and attentive. The hotel itself needs some facility updates. Also our room toilet was clogged before we even used it. There was no way to get a plunger during our stay. There was also no ice in the one ice machine they had.

This hotel was filthy outside. Our rok. Was in the second building and the floors in the hall way and elevatorwere sticky and nasty. Yall the emergencydoors were open well past 10pm. People were like sleeping in there cars in the parking lot. Unfortunately we were in town for a big concert at the Tacoma Dome so all the hotels were booked up.

Our room was never cleaned, had to jump through loops to get towels and toilet paper and ice. The tv was not working properly. This was our third and final time staying here.
