This is THE most AMAZING place. From the moment we checked in (early) the staff were super friendly and the accomodation pure luxury. From cleaning the pool silently in the mornings before we awoke, to helping to provide ginger tea for my unwell partner, this staff were amazing. Would 100% go here again and 100% recommend to anyone else.

Hotel Tugu Lombok was one of the most special hotels we stayed at during our trip to Indonesia. This is not your typical luxury resort: it has soul, history and a very strong sense of place. The entire property feels like a journey through Indonesian culture, filled with beautiful antiques, traditional architecture, art and incredible details everywhere you look. The lush gardens, the beach and the atmosphere make it feel almost like a hidden world of its own. Nothing feels generic or overly polished; it is elegant, authentic and full of character. The service was warm and genuinely welcoming, and the whole experience felt very personal. What impressed me even more was the value for money: you get the atmosphere and attention to detail of a much more expensive hotel without the excessive luxury price tag. If you are looking for a modern, flashy resort, this may not be for you. But if you appreciate unique hotels with history, personality and a real connection to the destination, Tugu Lombok is absolutely worth experiencing!
