2/5 - Disappointing
Nothing to do in Taranto , stays in hotel for its charm and quietness

Travelers like the monuments in Magna Grecia, and Greek Walls Archaeological Park is a top attraction you might want to visit.

A truly world class hotel. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The concierge staff in particular went above and beyond normal expectations. The property is very well situated to explore the many must see towns in Puglia. Would advise to rent a car

Loved the place. The history re the area, interesting. Very quiet. Staff even parked our car in free parking, road very very narrow. Very polite.

Best local food based on the hotel staff recommendations. The city is real. Working people, shoppers, school kids, dogs, all signs of a thriving real city!
The old town is rundown and in need of major renovation. A number of Italian seafood restaurants in the area. A highlight of our stop there was the military tour of the castle.
Surprisingly interesting town, the Museum is exceptional, everyone should go and visit Taranto for the Museum and to tour the Castle. Also had the best seafood and gelato in Taranto :-)
