“The motel, because that’s what it is, is getting rundown. They renovated part of the motel and charge extra to book in the renovated rooms. For Expedia customers, they told me that they’re placed in the old, un-renovated rooms. The WiFi sucked in these rooms, my AC unit was falling apart. It did work, but smelled funny and had parts coming off. The staff is made up of college age kids who are less than helpful sometimes. I prefer El Dorado when I stay in Tecate to this place, but it was sold out”
