Paradise Regained: Waterfront Hideaway with Dock

"We loved staying at Paradise Regained. It is not for someone who is looking for convenience or modern features. It is a rustic place to get away and enjoy the simple serene things in life. Great swimming area but not for someone with mobility issues due to steep inclines and spiral staircase. Believe it would be a lot of work to manage young children on this property as well. We rented it 25 years ago and were completely delighted and satisfied with it this time and think it is a special special place. Hoping to be able to stay there again and feel so fortunate to have made the return visit which brought back lots of memories. This is an amazing place for adults wanting to get away and enjoy nature in a nostalgic setting."

"We had a great stay. The host lives next door and was very prompt and friendly with the couple of questions we asked. Would highly recommend and we would like to return some day. This was a well furnished house and we had everything we needed. The decks were amazing. The kayaks and paddle boards and swim pad were fun to play with. The available dock slip was very convenient.One thing to mention is this community has pretty narrow roads and not any real room to turn around with a boat trailer. I decided to drive by the house and take a look before I showed up with my boat and I am glad I did so I knew what to expect. Everything worked out great. I was able to plan ahead and take the boat straight to the marina to launch it and then only drove to the house with an empty trailer which made it a whole lot easier."

"Beautiful simple home with everything we needed to stay there comfortably with kids and dogs. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs to run around. More than plenty of room for parking including a 2 car garage. The cabinets and closets had anything and everything you needed for bedding, towels, fans, cleaning, cooking, coffee etc. Beds were comfortable. The view from the master bedroom was amazing. We loved the setup to open the French doors to the deck and lake view. Sitting on the back porch enjoying our evenings was the best. Cozy late nights in the living room watching movies felt like home. Kitchen was equipped with what we needed to make meals and so much more. We absolutely loved this location and.home. Every little touch and extra accommodations was greatly appreciated "

"This house was perfect for a few days near the lake. We loved the hot tub and the foosball table. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of pots and pans and utensils. The host was great with communication, and gave us all the info we needed. Deck had a great view of the lake and we loved spending mornings and evenings out there. We also really liked the community beach area. There is a designated swimming area, some sand for the kiddos to play in, a playground, and even some big trees that provide some nice shade. It’s down a pretty big hill, and it’s quite the climb back up to the house if you decide to walk. Doable, but not very fun in the heat while lugging beach gear. They do provide a parking pass though so you can also drive to the beach. Overall, loved staying here!"

"This is a stunning property! From start to finish, communication was great. The house was clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed and more. There were 6 adults, two 3yr olds, and a dog and there was something for everyone. We liked the location and ability to boat over to Harrison. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!"
