"We had a great time, enjoying the beautiful view and having private access to the lake. August was the perfect time to swim, kayak and paddle board. There are many stairs, so be sure you can carry your stuff from your car to the house on stairs (we helped my parents). We liked that there were 3 bathrooms, comfortable beds and 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards among other lake floaties. Hoping to return next year."

"We loved staying at Paradise Regained. It is not for someone who is looking for convenience or modern features. It is a rustic place to get away and enjoy the simple serene things in life. Great swimming area but not for someone with mobility issues due to steep inclines and spiral staircase. Believe it would be a lot of work to manage young children on this property as well. We rented it 25 years ago and were completely delighted and satisfied with it this time and think it is a special special place. Hoping to be able to stay there again and feel so fortunate to have made the return visit which brought back lots of memories. This is an amazing place for adults wanting to get away and enjoy nature in a nostalgic setting."
