Our first impression at check in was fine. As we went to our room on the second floor, you can see it’s a well worn hotel. I know age and weather can do a number on an Oceanside hotel, but the smell was pretty dank and carpet worn. Our room was much smaller than the pictures showed. The grate on the small door that housed the heater/ac was covered with lint. The sound was so loud from the a/c. The bathroom is square in the middle and small. It has a glass door to get into the shower, but to get into the shower you have to wedge yourself next to the toilet and the wall, then open the door and climb through the 14” opening because the door hits the toilet. How did this ever pass inspection?? The money spent for this room was a big regret!
