“A very short stay with my daughters and oddly designed. We had a room on 2nd floor with elevators on the outside of hotel corners. Our room was opposite the elevators so getting our bags and luggage was a challenge; corridor to room was very narrow. Well lit outside and plenty of parking, but did not feel comfortable with people coming and going from property very late at night. Large outdoor pool blocked off my property and somewhat centered within hotel, almost like a ‘U’ shape design. Good……

“Staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, and comfortable. I stayed with my pet, and everything went well. I would absolutely recommend it!”

“The whole experience was first class. From the greeting to getting the lay of the hotel. Hot coffee was a big bonus.”

“We stayed over the weekend for my son-in-law’s memorial service. The hotel advertised a pool and hot tub, so we took our grandchildren for a swim and hoped the adults could relax in the hot tub. Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn’t working, was blocked off, and had no water, with dead cockroaches at the bottom. The pool was so cold it couldn’t be used either. The main reason we booked this hotel was for the pool, and had we known it wasn’t functional, we would have chosen somewhere else. We thought……

“Pros: The bedding is magnificent, it has a kitchenette that’s very clean, the tv is huge. CONS: The lobby is tiny, the restroom was not cleaned properly. The toilet had hair and dirt in the bowl, and the tub had some yellow substance on it that looked similar to dried urine. There was also strands of blond hair on one of the pillows. To sum it all up. I would only use this place for an overnight stay. If you’re planning a long stay bring cleaning supplies and fragrant candles.”

“Ceilings were nasty, bathroom wasn't cleaned, leaves in my room from window. Overall not clean or comfortable inside of room.”

“Good cheap place when you are playing baseball in hoover. BBQ was good. Showers were hot and water pressure was great. Free laundry service was very nice and came in handy washing jerseys. Kitchen in the room was also great. Pool was warm as we stayed in the summer and was quiet.”

“This location is perfection for people traveling North on Hwy 459/59 through or from Bham. Liberty Park is lovely and manicured, as well as convenient to Hwy 280 and the gorgeous neighborhood of Mountain Brook. This particular Hilton Garden Inn is impressive for a 3-star Mo-Micro-Tel. The lobby is lovely and well appointed. When we visited, one elevator was out of service, but, they weren’t fully booked, so it didn’t cause us any real difficulty. The temperature throughout common areas was a bit……
