Great stay! Loved the design of the rooms and public spaces. Great area with the Waterworks Food Hall right across the street. Lots to do and tons of dining options. Great vibe!

I love this hotel. Possibly and odd thing to point out but one of my favorite elements is the lack of a digital clock. I love that there's just a dial radio in the room so that there's no disturbing lighting and I can listen to music and wind-down in the evenings or gently wake up in the morning.

I chose this hotel at the suggestion of a travel magazine.The hotel is well-known for its commitment to sustainability. Most of the construction was either plywood or poured concrete. My room was just big enough for a queen bed, tiny table, and chair. The view was fun because I looked at a small park with a large, cleverly-designed dog park, and I loved going over in the early evening to watch the dogs play and the owners compare notes. The hotel's vibe was definitely youthful. I was thirty years older than any other guest, I think. The staff was very poorly informed about directions. I asked how to reach an exurb and was told I would have to take two buses to get there. I found out that a train left from the central station every fifteen minutes. When I told the young men who had looked at a computer and given me the two-bus option that they needed to know the area better, they smiled and said nothing. I wonder if a much younger person would have gotten a response???
