For the price the stay is pretty good. Only complaint is the noise level in the house from other rooms but was very clean. Instructions from owner were poor and delayed responses but pretty much once you book the room you just can walk into the main entrance of the house (its always open) and walk straight to you room upstairs.

DeluxeRm shared bath in newer home, directly accross from Elementary School. 5 day stay, 8+ guest using bathroom, never cleaned, no towels. Bedding not changed from previous guest(s), dried body fluid and hair on sheets. Photos sent to Property manager, no response or remedy received. Shared spaces at comfortable heat, Heat flow to bedroom minimal. Accomodation is connected with Ajoining bathroom and bedroom, though door blocked by a dresser, noise and light flood room as if everything is wide open. Power outlets in bedroom not fuctional. No cooking allowed per property manager. "Kitchenette" provides small microwave and dorm fridge, shared by 4 rooms. Plastic cutlery, paper plates/cups/bowls, 5gallon water, masala tea and sugar. No recycling. Two small trash cans provided. 20mins from Toronto International Airport. 40-60mins from downtown Toronto via interstate. Security camera at front door. 1 in downstairs mainspace and 1 in upstairs mainspace, always on.

I just needed a room for a couple nights as I did some business in the area and this property met my needs. Despite several people staying in the house at the same time everything was quiet. Would happily stay again.

The price is fair for just one night sleep, the room and the house is kept at average condition. However, the house is filled with curry odor, the room has limited amenity with just a queen-size bed, one night stand and one simple chair. The host only provided one towel even though my booking was for 2 people. When I texted her asking for another towel, the response is "it will provided tomorrow morning". After I texted back "but I need it tonight", there was no response.

Given the price not bad but hotel is better option
Staying in a home hotel was a little different but the things to note:- -no kitchen option and very inconvenient as there is not coffee machine or hot water option. Only the microwave and fridge and no utensils or spoons to use. -There is one full washroom shared between 4 rooms. Luckily all the rooms were not occupied so this issue was not therebut if all are full there is going to be a lot of issues. -The bed was not the greatest and the mattress and sheets and the comfortor were not the most clean. -Parking option was good. -There were so many cameras almost looked like we were being watched every second. -There was tea bags and no utensils or cups to make it and no hot water option. -There was no tables or somewhere we can eat. The microwave place did not have a sink so very inconvenient. - We did not even have cups or plates like one in my room. Overall I would prefer a hotel where there is more response and more facilities as for everything I had to ask call. Plus we do have an elevator as well and have to climb up the stairs. Even the accebility was very limited to move around. The access to the back was not available.
