The museum area holds furniture, garments and farm tools from the 19th and 20th centuries while the archives preserve old photographs and newspapers.

For fresh air, visit pretty Gage Park. Surrounded by fragrant flower beds and woodland, the area has several paths and trails, as well as lawns and picnic areas. During winter the circular path here freezes over and becomes a popular ice rink. Rent skates and glide along the ring of ice surrounding a central gazebo, with festive lights adding to the experience.
