"Staff friendly and efficient. No bathroom light as broken/bulb gone. Unable to change the radiator temperature in room so was too hot to sleep. Mug had been used and biscuits open and half eaten. It did look like the other clean mug and biscuits so assume the cleaner not checked. However there was a good amount of tea and coffee left if id have felt ok to use the mugs. Everything else is as expected for the standard of hotel"

"Unfortunately there was a large amount of building work going on and out room directly overlook the building work so no view whatsoever ever. Asked about a room change and the duty manager said there was nothing available didn’t offer any alternatives and didn’t ask if we would like to upgrade at a cost to ourselves. "

"pool was fantastic and no extra charge. Breakfast was delicious and a relaxing atmosphere. No charge for car parking.only thing was not a good veiw "

"Vavasour House is clean, comfortable and cosy. Our hosts were most welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The kitchen is well-equipped so we had no problems preparing and cooking our Christmas Day dinner. The beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed taking walks along the nearby river - there are numerous footpaths through the Red House Estate."
