Liverpool City Centre2 nights2.0 star property7.4/10 - Good (3 reviews)"The host was absolutely fantastic and I couldn’t have asked for any more. Apartment was well equipped and considering being in the middle of all the bars and clubs was very well sound insulated. I would recommend to family’s that this is in the middle of a busy nightlife part of Liverpool so may not be suitable for young children. But workers/couples or friends it’s absolutely ideal for being in the centre. Thank you so much :) Sam"Reviewed August 21, 2026Roundtrip • Boston (BOS) - Liverpool (LPL)BOS - LPL • 1 stop LPL - BOS • 1 stop$1,296$1,197found 13 hours agoper traveler - Hotel Anfield

All the kitchen cupboards had been left wide open. And there was a stench of stale smoke in the room. Beds had the cheapest, most uncomfortable mattresses, and one of the beds had clearly been broken as there was a large dip in the middle, the bed wasn't made at all. Trewern Hotel Deals
"For us, just a one-night stay, but we arrived about 4pm on a Sunday afternoon, to find this is an extremely popular venue for Sunday lunches. The menu continued into the evening and we were able to see why it's so popular. A great meal, and then a lovely cooked breakfast the next morning. The room, facilities and bed were all comfortable and all in all, we had made a good choice in a quiet rural location."

"Fabulous new B & B recently opened. Olivia & Matt are lovely hosts and very welcoming. Breakfast is delicious and top quality fruit juices served in individual bottles unlike cheap juices served in many places. Our room was large and comfortable with a generous hospitality tray and large kettle. Soft fluffy towels. Ideal location for touring. Well definitely return."
"Very clean, newly refurbished pub in a good location with interesting artistic decorations by local artist who owns the property. Good base to explore this part of the Wales/England border. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We ate at the pub both nights and evening meal was also very good. Lovely staff. Parking seemed to be no problem, either in pub's very small car park or on roads in village."
"Absolutely wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Great bed and spacious room. Bathtub, good size bathroom. Food and drinks good too."
"The cabin was warm and comfortable It was well equiped. The road getting to it was narrow but manageable with care. The road surface was good. The view from the front was amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much. "
