I arrived earlier than check in time of 3:00pm due to taking a red eye flight. I asked if I could have a room earlier and the front lady was kind enough to let me have a room on the 1st floor. The only problem was it was next to the staircase and I didn’t realize how loud it was going to be throughout the day and evening. I didn’t want to pack everything up and ask for a room since I was only there for 3 nights. The carpeting in the hallway seemed a little dirty and had a funny smell. My room also had a funny smell. The room was comfortable and clean. It just looked like it could use a little sprucing up. The staff for the most part was excellent. The buffet was okay. Not the best food but it did the trick. The night counter person seemed to be the only employee there and had to do everything. I needed something one night and couldn’t find anyone. Other than my few complaints everything else was fine. Location was good for what I was doing. Had several restaurants in walking distance and was basically close to everything I needed. May be back next year’s
