“I’m not sure the girls at the front desk could have been less friendly. Upon arrival there was no friendly hello or even a smile. In fact, I’m pretty sure neither of them even looked up as we approached the desk. Then later, when there was a problem with our room (due to Expedia, by the way), I was never apologized to, but more so treated as an inconvenience and a liar. So it was definitely a good thing that I keep detailed records in this case. Another disappointing experience happened a short……

“Free parking , hotel with very historic charisma right on Mainstreet in historic downtown of Trinidad, Co. Loved the high ceilings and original wood floors, combined with modern amenities. Room was quiet and had everything we needed, staff was lovely, welcoming and helpful. Hotel restaurant offers delicious food, and a free welcome drink. We greatly enjoyed our 1 night stay.”

“Don’t judge this book by its cover. Kind of a turn-off from the outside but, you’re sleeping inside. Clean room. The towels and linen looked brand new! Friendly gal checked me in. Parking for trucks/RV’s across the street in a dirt lot owned by the city. Easy walking to breakfast and dinner options. I will stay again when I’m in the area!”
