“We felt like our stay in the Best Western Plus Hotel in Raton, NM was fine and overall, a good value: Pros: Our room was clean and spacious; the service was great – friendly and helpful. The location was fine, far enough from the interstate so you don’t hear a lot of traffic noise but close enough to be convenient if you are just passing through. “We had stayed there 2 years ago and our stay was good. This time I required a wheelchair accessible room and all I could do was get into the room. The only way to get in the bathroom was to sit on the bed, have my husband put it on the other side of the bed and then carry me over to the wheelchair. My husband moved a chair to enable me to get the on the bed and found what was left of a partially eaten pork chop. Was very disappointed with our stay as the first one was so pleasant.”
