“GREAT STAY.
This is a wonderful old historic (refurbished) downtown building, now a hotel with a tap room and restaurant.
Great location. Walking distance to the Amtrak station, a selection of additional restaurants nearby, art galleries and antique shops in the downtown. A lot of western history here.
This establishment is a loving work in progress with great potential for the future. As of today everything is fully operational, we wanted for nothing during our stay. Enough modern touches to……
“Location is convenient located right off I25. Our room had stains in the carpet, couch that could have been blood. Shower floor needed a good cleaning.
Staff was very good and they fixed an issue with our reservation.”
“Upon arrival I was told the credit card machine was not working so I would have to pay cash, and was assured my credit card would not be charged. Paid cash, asked for a receipt, was told I could get one in the morning. He was nowhere to be found when I checked out and my card was charged. The tv didn't work. The toilet was a child sized toilet. Terrible place.”
“The room did not have a smoke detector, which is concerning considering the way the lamp in the corner was wired. An ungrounded extension cord is plugged into the bathroom outlet, passes through the door opening, then the lamp is plugged in with a ground lift. This is not a temporary setup - the cord is mounted to the wall.
The place is a dump.”
