Arrive to this secluded ocean getaway and be greeted with spectacularly serene ocean views. This custom home located behind a privacy gate boasts gorgeous ocean views. The deck and sun-room offer areas for dining and great space to take in the scenery. Relax in this home and feel perched above the ocean below. Waking to this wooded, ocean landscape is truly inspiring. This 1 bedroom plus 2nd bedroom loft home is best suited for adults or families with older children. The Master bedroom has a king bed and the loft offers a queen bed. The recently remodeled bathroom is very contemporary and boasts a beautifully tiled floor and shower stall. Laundry is available in the home. The house is filled with lovely art pieces from all over the world. The kitchen has premium appliances and great views. The barbecue is propane and great to use for grilling on the deck and watching the waves below. Take a stroll down the trail to Indian beach and enjoy the serenity of Trinidad's local beaches.

Important Notes:

** Guest reserving home must be 25 years or older, be staying at the property the entire time and will be considered the responsible party for this booking.

** Upon completion of booking reservation guests will be required to sign a rental agreement agreeing to Trinidad Retreats rules and regulations.

** Sorry but this is not a pet friendly home, no exceptions.

Amazing!!!

Best rental my family has ever stayed in! The views are out of this world. From the scenery, access to the beach and hiking trails this place has it all. We will absolutely come back.

Redwood trip

Loved the view and could hear the waves from the house. Place is a little dated but doesn’t take away from the location! Was comfortable overall. Very close to beach, grocery store and local restaurants. Pizza place was good. We planned this short stay around visiting redwoods, which was great. Then discovered Sue-Meg State Park nearby which was awesome!

Lovely stay in Trinidad

This place is amazing! Beautiful home with an outstanding view. We were very comfortable during our stay, and found everything we needed for a great vacation. Well stocked kitchen, linens, great fireplace, and comfort all around. Lovely collection of art and handmade objects provide many special touches around the house.

Tremendous Views

Perfect property for our first time visit to the Pacific Ocean. Quiet and secluded. Loved sitting on the deck with the Ocean views and the sound of the crashing waves. Centrally located to all the things we wanted to see and do. The small town of Trinidad has it's own special charm as well. Michelle and I loved it and plan on returning.

Wonderful location

Enjoyed our stay this December. Pros: location was just as the photos ie wonderful. House was clean with all the supplies in the kitchen except for cooking oil. Cons: mattress in the bed room is old and creaky. Should be changed.

The house is so cozy and located perfectly, nestled in the woods and overlooking the Trinidad Bay Area. Our favorite thing is sitting on the deck watching the sun rise with coffee each morning and then watching the sunset with a cocktail! There is not a bad view from the house or on the deck. The town of Trinidad is very nice and the people are friendly. Choice of restaurants are very good as well. Perfect relaxing getaway!

The house really is a private retreat with all the amenities you'll ever need. My only suggestion would be the investment in new bed linens, including duvet covers and pillow covers that can be washed for every new guest. The price per night of this rental really should include immaculate, upscale bed linens.

Great view

The property had a spectacular view, but it was a bit dated. When we arrived the alarm went off & we had a hard time getting it to stop, but eventually the property manager was able to get it turned off. The bathroom was a bit small. The neighbor continued to close & lock the gate, which was a inconvenience when we were coming and going. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay.

This house was perfect! the views were unbelievable! The house was clean and well kept, within walking distance to the beach and very close to a grocery store and small restaurants. The only thing I might say about the house is that parts of it seem somewhat dated, the cupboards, countertops, closets, etc but not a deal breaker and otherwise it was perfect for our needs! the property managers were very helpful, no issues with our stay at all.

Reviewer Comments: This house has amazing views from every room, and a nice deck from which you can look at the water, grill some food, and listen to the waves. If you are a family or two couples, be aware that the second bedroom is upstairs in an open loft, so there is no aural privacy up there. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and linens, but bring your own coffee, tea, cooking oil, and other basics.From the driveway there are trails down to the lovely beach.Off of the trail are steps that lead up into town, where there is a very good supermarket that has everything you might need.

Sea Cliff Stay

This was our second 2 week stay here . We love this place and hope to come back again. The private location at the end of the lane and overlooking the Trinidad Harbor is perfect. We never tired of looking out the expansive windows to see the tide change effect on the beach below the house, to watch the activity of boats, kayakers and paddle boarders in the harbor and the changing weather from fog to sunshine . The house is comfortably and attractively furnished. The gas fireplace was a welcome and cozy plus on a cool foggy morning. Love the small community of Trinidad as well. Can't say enough good things about this place. Had only one complaint. The deck barbecue had not been cleaned from the previous use. We could live with that. Jim and Marilyn

Stunning ocean view

Stunning location along a forested coastline, with a giant sea view that takes in the harbor, a gorgeous little beach below and on out to the open ocean. Instructions from the operator were concise and clear and not overly demanding. We enjoyed our 3-day stay.
