How can I get cheap hotels in Trumbull?

Best tips to find a cheap hotel in Trumbull

  1. If you're looking to travel to Trumbull on a budget, you'll be happy to know that you can find hotels for as low as $129. Of course, that price is affected by amenities, star rating, and even the time of year you visit. At most, hotel prices can be as high as $185. Staying a short amount of time in Trumbull is an effective way to reduce hotel costs.
  2. When you cut your vacation down to just a few days, you don't have to worry as much about hotel prices since you don't have that many nights to stay. For budget hotels in Trumbull, 3 to 4 days should be all the nights you need. That's generally enough to enjoy the city's top attractions, though there's certainly enough to do to warrant a week-long trip.
  3. When booking cheap hotel rooms in Trumbull, it's typically best to book about 3 weeks in advance. Book further in advance than that and you could be paying too much for your room, as hotels will often overestimate future demand. However, if you wait too long, you might find that the hotel has been completely booked.
  4. When you utilize search filters on Expedia, you'll be able to narrow down your results in a flash. These search filters cover a wide variety of factors you may be interested in when it comes to finding a cheap hotel in Trumbull, including amenities such as Free Breakfast, 2-star rating, or proximity to local attractions. You can even set filters for price limits to ensure that all the displayed results are within your budget.

"Staff was helpful, property in in great shape. BUT beware, the pet fee has been raised to $75!. I feel this is excessive, i would agree to a deposit and if damage was done, the guest would be charged. Our dog has never damaged any property and is not left in the room alone. Probably will stop staying at Wyndom Hotels"

"Nice hotel in New Haven where I stayed when I participated in the Faxon Race in Sept. Close to New Haven Green, lots of restaurants, very walkable. Property was very clean, staff at check in/out were very helpful. Bathroom had nice materials, water was immediately hot, and good lighting for makeup; available robe for use was a nice touch. Counter space was limited, and the fan and light was on the same switch so you had to hear the fan every time you turned on the light. The mini fridge was in a cabinet with no outlet so I had to drag it out into the room to plug it in to get it cold; I left it there until the day I checked out when I unplugged and returned it to the cabinet. There is no breakfast included however they do have Starbucks coffee in the lobby in AM. Although they do have a fairly good selection of food items at the kiosk in the lobby it was very expensive ($5 for a 6 oz cup of yougurt!). Parking was directly across the street and fairly reasonable for a city; the ramps were pretty tight so if you have a large vehicle it could be a challenge navigating."

"Upon arrival I asked for the pack and play I had called beforehand and requested and the manager to the staff helping me goes, “is there a note? Was it requested beforehand?” It was, but what if it wasn’t? Then I asked the front desk staff if I could have a room away from elevators and stairs and the manager, again from off to the side, goes, “we’re really booked right now with a wedding and a hockey team.” I go, “ok well I have a baby so just away from the hockey team would be great.” She goes on to say they can’t accommodate such things yadda yadda - then the front desk staff looks at me and goes, “I gave you a room in the middle of the floor away from stairs and elevators.” So not sure if the manager was just trying to find an issue or what. The elevator is inconveniently located on the complete opposite side of the hotel as the lobby and our room. The stairs were quick and easily accessible but because I had a stroller, I had to walk around 3 sides of the hotel. Get to our room - dirty stained carpet but otherwise clean. The tub and toilet were both clogged when we got there. I asked for them to be unclogged and left but the maintenance man only unclogged the toilet. When the pack and play arrived, I asked if I could have an extra towel and wash cloth for my baby and was told no by the housekeeper. In the middle of the night 4 ants were crawling on the toilet (I have pictures and video), the heat/ac unit front fell off everytime it kicked on. Hotel was nice, bad room."
