Pros: location! It's nestled up against the Catalina Mountains so is very quiet. You can look out over the valley at night and see the beautiful nite lites.
Location: antique stores, several old missions, forts, drive around and look at the mountains and beautiful cacti
I have stayed many times at this resort...it is one of my favorite places to go. It is very quiet, staff are considerate....will return!

Great location and views

Pros: Beautiful grounds
Cons: Nothing I can think of
Location: Lots of restaurants and shopping. Convenient location.
Although my family lives nearby, I chose to stay at this resort because of it's beautiful grounds and convenient location. The bed was one of the most comfortable ever.

Nice place to relax but bring your own cleaning st

The resort is beautiful and the rooms are spacious, but the house helping staff doesn't work very hard. Our room has things left over from the previous occupant and doors wouldn't open and the toilet wobbled. The resort did waive the resort fees though.

Pros: Everything!
Cons: Steps to the pacific ocean haha
Location: Will know more when we visit again
Was a short last minute 2 night stay. By the time we received our itinerary for the events in town, all of the hotel prices within walking distance skyrocketed. So looked around and found this unique resort 8 miles from our destination. All of the staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. The room was super spacious for the 4 of us and the internet worked. We utilized the well equipped exercise facilities in the mornings and the pools to cool down in the evenings. Very nice settings in both areas. We also ordered room service late one night for cravings without expecting much but were treated with healthy servings of buffalo wings and ice cream. Really enjoyed it here!

Aging property, but rooms are nicely refurbished.

The door to our room was open when we arrived, and there was blood on the shower curtain - the outside part that does not get snapped off and washed regularly. Clearly the maid was off her game. Rather than just replace the curtain, we were moved to a different room. The air-conditioning in that room was wonky, and there are no ceiling fans to help circulate the air. That's a helpful addition to a vaulted-ceiling room in a desert. I can see that the property is trying to raise standards, and it's always a struggle with such an old facility. I recommend visiting in winter. And check your shower curtain.

Nice place to stay

Posted Aug 15, 2015
Everyone that works there was quite pleasant. This was our third stay at Westward Look. Must have been a skeleton crew working as we were there mid week. Room service took over an hour, but they felt bad about it and comped breakfast charge. That was very nice! Took a late night call to get the tray picked up from the front of our room. Also, had lunch at pool, and the tray was still there when we went to the pool, late that night. Was not crowded, so possibly, a minimum staff due to time of year, but should be cleaned sooner than 10 hours. There was also a minor smell of raw sewage in front of our room. May have been due to the major storm, our first night in Tucson.
