We were in town for four days due to a family emergency and had high hopes for our stay. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of our expectations.
Our original room was small but clean, although the décor and furnishings were noticeably dated. Our biggest concern was the lack of hot water. After contacting maintenance, we were moved from a double room to what was described as an “upgrade” to a king suite. While we appreciated the effort to accommodate us, having to pack up and move rooms was frustrating, especially given the circumstances of our visit. At that point, we were simply exhausted and wanted to get settled.
On a positive note, the bar served good drinks, although the atmosphere was a bit loud for our liking.
One definite perk was the complimentary covered parking, which we appreciated! However, the parking garage uses a single driveway for both entering and exiting, which can feel a little intimidating when cars are coming from both directions.
Overall, while there were a few positives, the hotel could certainly benefit from some updates and improvements. We had hoped for a more comfortable, relaxing stay.
