Nice place in a good location and close to everything we needed. The internet was not great, could use upgrading. And the dryer had a loud annoying squeaking sound while running. We still really enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

There really isn't anything in Hidalgo itself. You need to go to McAllen for food or shopping but this hotel is perfect to stay at while attending anything at the State Farm Arena and it worked for us.
