“Our room was nice and the facilities were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The check-in was confusing as we had to go to Hotel Aurora to check in (a block away) not at Casa Hipil itself. This could’ve been messaged ahead of time to save confusion. We also had to remind the staff that we had pre-purchased breakfast because they seemed to be unaware of that. But once they took a picture of our hardcopy reservation we received credit for our breakfasts. The breakfast was served……

“Wat een GEWELDIGE plek. Een verborgen parel. Super schone, nette kamer. Op het terrein 3 eigen cenotes. TOP! Ligt 20 minuten buiten Valkadolid. Ontbijt (inclusief) was eenvoudig, maar prima. Geen eigerechten, maar die konden we bijbestellen tegen betaling. Na het uitchecken zijn we nog heerlijk blijven hangen, heerlijk lunch gehad en genoten van de rust. Een aanrader!”

“No está en Valladolid, está como a 20km y sobre una carretera, llegamos y no había nadie en la recepción, una persona de un puesto nos abrió, en la tarde qué salimos nos dijeron que a las 10: 00 pm se iba la recepcionista que llegó a las 3:00 de la tarde, y nos iban a dejar encerrados, en la noche no hay nadie que atienda, no hay agua caliente, el baño no tiene canceles, al ver el servicio intenté cancelar la segunda noche, pero no lo permitieron, pésimo servicio, nadie llegó cuando dejé la……

“Pros : - clean Bedroom - well maintained property Cons : - Our room’s toilet flush stopped working in the morning. We kept calling the operator but no one answered. We were traveling with kids. It became difficult to manage. - the shower area had a thick bunch of hair sticking by the wall next to the shower knob. It was very thick bunch of hair and it was gross. - WiFi Sucks !! We were given a WiFi password and were able to connect to WiFi. It worked in the evening, but after we came back……

“Absolutely amazing setting! We stayed in the ‘museum’ part. Gorgeous gardens. According to my husband, ‘a cross between faded elegance and somewhat abandoned. Big room with a 4 poster bed, high ceilings and solid wooden shutters. ”

“Chambre impeccable, personnel très gentil et serviable. L'emplacement en face du tu terminal ADO est très pratique et pas très loin du centre ville. pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre, mais il y a un réfrigérateur partagé disponible a côté de la réception. Pas de fenêtre qui donne directement sur l'extérieur, les fenêtres donnent sur l'intérieur ce qui fair que la chambre manque un peu de luminosité en journée. ”

“Fantastic place, great fresh breakfast, the property is peaceful and beautiful. Our hosts were wonderful, interesting people, and helped us book a couple of guided tours while there. All in all, couldnt ask for anything more, highly recommended!! Great location for birdwatching as well.”
