“The absolute warmest people - that's what stood out to me the most. It's such a treat to get to sit at the breakfast table with Laurie, to hear her stories of a life well lived and to share my own. The breakfast was outstanding, made with love by Miriam who is so gentle and kind. The B&B is clean, cozy and well located. I took a long stroll around the neighborhood which was lush and quiet. An overall excellent experience. ”

“Staff not too nice. Front desk empty most of the time, nobody available, exterior doors open 24/7 meaning that unauthorized person can get in. Breakfast normal but served too late 8:00 am, some people need to leave hotel earlier . Room not great, old hotel, needs a lot of maintenance. My family and I did not feel comfortable. ”

“This lodging is a hidden gem away from Poas but close enough to get to the crater within 20 minutes. The views from the dining area were spectacular. The owner, Cindy, communicated clearly and often. She provided excellent directions to the property which is located high up on a hill in a residential area. The bedding was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend Serenity Ecolodge for a stay near Poas Volcano. I have nothing but good things to say about the……
