“I enjoyed both the location and the charm of the Hood River Hotel. As the hotel is over a hundred years old it's layout and amenities brought out feelings in me from a bygone era! The breakfast that I had was delightful with a hearty selection on the menu and it was tasty! Unfortunately, trying to get a morning cup of coffee in my room was impossible as trying to brew a cup was a challenge that 'bested' me! Finally, the broken roller switches on the electric cords to the wall mounted lamps,……

“Unless I was a foreigner I could hardly understand their language. The HBO was very poor and the TV did not work when we got there we had to have them come up and install something that was not installed. And that's about it other things were kind of okay for a very inexpensive stay other than the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable”

“Large clean room with fridge, microwave, and coffee. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great location within walking distance of restaurants. Will definitely return.”
