Why share walls with another unit, live with other travelers, when you can be in the ‘place to be’ in a world apart with the people you know and love? Enjoy all the quietude you desire in this remarkable one-of-its-kind stand alone single family home in East Vail. It exhibits a naturally harmonic blend of serenity and grandeur, both privacy and luxury.   
  
Bask in the kaleidoscopic light that pours through the south facing windows, illuminating the ‘grand’ great room with its vaulted ceilings, pristine hard wood floors and gas fireplace ‘fashionably set’ into a multi colored cut-stone hearth framed by a darkened wooden mantle. The Evergreen laden mountain views are EPIC and yet, from within the grounds of this heavenly homestead, one can be made to feel that the towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls of Gore Creek were performing a very intimate albeit glorious ‘pageant’ just for them.   
  
Smartly accoutered with stainless steel grill, hot tub and table and chairs you are cordially invited to indulge in a relaxing retreat on the recently extended deck, whether its for sunbathing or watching the clouds move across the tapestry of the sky at twilight. The stargazing at night is sublime, the brilliance of the twinkling stars revolving in their spheres seem to be mirrored by the vintage hanging lights that adorn the balustrade, adding just a touch of festive flare.  
  
The kitchen has all new upscale stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and bar style seating. Savor your time together engaged in good conversation during meals at the large dining room table that seats 8 comfortably, and then adjourn to the relaxation of the massive living room equipped with a large flat screen TV, surround sound and plenty of seating for your nearest and dearest. Also, no need to leave your furry friend at home. You’re welcome to have one dog accompany you for $40/day. When it is time to venture out, a large two car heated garage will keep your vehicles safe and dry upon your return. If you want to drive that is! There’s really no need. This wonderful home is right on the free Town of Vail shuttle route so getting to Vail mountain is easy and fun. Live it up right in a true ‘place apart’, drop in to 2250 square feet at 5025 Main Gore Place!

• Use professional tools, including microfiber rags, large and small brushes, melamine foam sponges, and floor mops with replaceable cleaning pads.  
  
• High-touch areas are cleaned and scrubbed with every cleaning, including light switches, fan pull chains, remote controls, cabinet knobs, appliance handles, kitchen counters, etc.  
  
• Guests can check in directly to home, avoiding contact with others.

Had a very comfortable stay at the property. Hosts were excellent with communication and provided all needed information ahead of arrival. They were easy to work with and accommodating to our requests. House was clean and well furnished with everything we could need. Hot tub was great - very warm and clean! The property is older, and while appears well-maintained, some updates would be appreciated based on price paid during peak season. Overall a great property and no complaints.

#### Very nice place, overbearing property management

The house is very nice, plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms for a large group. The kitchen is well appointed (dishes, cookware etc). The hot tub is right out the back door, very nice! The house is conspicuously missing things you expect in a ski house - for example, peg hooks near the door for your ski jacks, pants, a place for your ski equipment in the garage. The only real complaint is the that the property is managed by Berkshire Hathaway and they hound you. We received no less than 8 messages (via email AND text) reminding us checkout time was 10am...it gets to be very annoying after you get these messages. Just tell people check out time is 10am and if they don't check out on time, add a fee...but nagging is very unprofessional. Also - they have so so many rules - all easy to follow, but it makes you feel like you are visiting your great grandmother's house with the plastic covered furniture. All in all, a very nice place, but the atmosphere of walking on thin ice is unpleasant.

#### Holiday stay

The house is comfortable (beds were great) with space for all to spread out. It was also spotless. I would say that the house could use updating. The heating system didn't turn on one evening, which wasn't ideal, but we managed. The hot tub and privacy of the home are ideal. Know that East Vail is a bit "out of the way" from acitivity and the grocery - but that can be viewed as a plus by many!

#### Girls getaway!

Great property! Spacious great room and very well stocked kitchen. Lots of sleeping space and bathrooms. The property manager was super responsive. We loved the experiment. One suggestion is to have some maps with local attractions. Otherwise, everything was terrific. Highly recommend.

#### Recent stay in Vail

This property is a quick drive to town, quiet, and has a large deck to relax and enjoy the Mountain views and air. The kitchen and family room are roomy and nice to have; in our opinion this is the only reason to book this property. Unfortunately, the bedrooms were dirty, are dated, and the beds were not comfortable. If you do stay here, bring your own pillows! We had a number of issues (no heat, bed collapsed, etc.) and I will say the property management company took care of the urgent matters immediately and has addressed other concerns since our stay.

#### Great place to regroup between wedding events.

Quiet neighborhood, great parking, enough room for 8 adults to get ready and to relax between events. It’s also a short walk to a great park for the dog.

#### FUN Family Vacation!!

Great place to stay! Close proximity to everything, yet a neighborhood feel. Hot tub was nice to relax and house was well-equipped for us! Highly recommend!!

#### Outdated and neglected

Great location but house was outdated, the kitchen was not very well stocked. Does not seem like much attention is being made to keeping place up- in July there were still Christmas decorations around.

#### Great for a Low-Key Group

This is a lovely home with a beautiful view that’s very accommodating for a group. Although bedrooms and bathrooms are little dated, the living area is wonderful and a large space not usually found in Vail Valley. It’s a great space for entertaining and very comfortable. We would come again!

Nice house in a nice neighborhood in east Vail. The garbage/recycling had not been taken out from the previous vacationers so we took out their garbage and our own. No big deal. Hot tub was clean and fully functional.
