"The breakfast was nice, the rooms were large enough and the pool was lovely. The downside is that there are no lifts so we had to carry our luggage up and down the stairs for check-in/check-out. Other than that, we were happy with the resort."

"The rooms were nice and clean but the halls in the morning had a few dead bugs (roaches etc.) on the floor. We came back down the halls a couple of hours later and they were still there which was gross. We’ve stayed here before and liked it but the roaches this time gave me the creeps. They could have cleaned them up for the guests passing back and forth for breakfast etc. The included breakfast was decent. The rooms are great for the price. There is a pool which looked nice but we’ve never used it as it’s been cooler weather when we’ve stayed."

"If you wanted confirmation of the state of this joint take a look at the attached pic of the front door . You'd hope they are in the middle of refurbishments, but I fear there were little original "furbs" anyway. "Resort"! Really?! the ACCC would have a field day with that boast. The carpet in the corridor, on my level at least, was new and fresh but the paint work lacked a professional finish. Inside my unit, it was liveable but, well...meh. In particular, the minimal provision of crockery and cutlery was not properly cleaned, a small roach was caught between the glass and a picture in the living area ("not the little German ones!, they are impossible to kill", retorted a friend (she's right.....I have proof)), roach poo on a kitchen shelf and the old NOT-really-an-extra-large-double-bed-but-two-singles-put-together trick . Having said that, I slept OK and just used the place to sleep and shower and have a coffee. The price on Expedia Mobile was good Location is good. The front desk people were pleasant and efficient enough, parking is problematic though, with very limited space so I parked on the street out the front and that worked for me. It's non-metered 3P(between 9AM and 5PM) so you are safe from a ticket between 2pm and noon the next day."

"Overall a nice quiet place to stay, apartment was spacious with plenty of room for our family of five. Location was great. Short walk to shops/dining and the beach. Also right by the tram station which was a bonus."

"We stayed at Ocean Pacific Resort for five days and, unfortunately, the experience did not match the price or advertised standard. We arrived late in the evening, and at first glance the room appeared tidy. However, in daylight the condition of the apartment was disappointing. Cleanliness & Maintenance Issues: The kitchen contained dirty dishes, cups, and cutlery on arrival. This is unacceptable for a property marketed as 4.5 stars. The dishwasher was faulty (the upper shelf would not close properly). We saw cockroaches in the kitchen at night. Pillowcases appeared unclean and may not have been changed. Amenities & Supplies: Only one small dishwashing liquid sachet and one dishwasher powder were provided for three adults over five days. Minimal toiletries were supplied (2 soaps, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 body wash). Only one small carton of milk was provided on arrival. Laundry supplies were also very limited (2 sachets total). Housekeeping: Rooms are only serviced for stays of 8 days or more. For our 5-day stay, no cleaning was provided, leaving the room dusty. General Condition: Furniture is worn, stained, and outdated. The room was cold at night despite using the air conditioning. The shower design was inconvenient (no proper door, slippery tiles, weak water pressure). Overall Experience: By the end of the stay, it felt like we were expected to clean and maintain the apartment ourselves, rather than being treated as guests."
