"Our stay in this unit was delightful. The space is cozy, comfortable, and well stocked. We were not guests until the end of October, so the weather didnt allow a lot of use of the lovely patio area with a spectacular view of Rainier, when she could dodge the clouds! The temperature was warm in rhe unit and is controlled by the owner's thermostat, but Nancy informed us of adjustable vents which helped the situation. She also promptly came to our aid for a TV remote issue for Netflix. We thoroughly enjoyed three nights on Vashon at this site! "

"This place was absolutely stunning and so peaceful. We pulled down the massive hill and we were greeted by a beautiful picture of the house with Mt. Rainier shining in the backdrop. We spent all evening taking pictures. Eventually, we did see one orca in the backyard! We did a lot of traveling but the ferry was super easy to use. The island is very quaint and full of nice people. Beds were comfortable and the whole house has a cozy feel to it. The kitchen is totally stocked and made us few at home. The worst part was how hard it was to stop staring out the windows at the mesmerizing view. We told everyone we know about it. If we ever come back, we will never be able to stay anywhere else. We’re spoiled now!"

"Beautiful, clean and nicely designed. Pavillion is so special! Our grandkids loved the outdoor fireplace and comfy couches. Staff was very responsive and made us feel at home. Will definitely come back to stay!"

"Beautiful location on a peaceful point with amazing water views and relaxing accommodations for a weekend getaway with our family with young kids. Beach play and games inside were all a hit with them. Plenty of accommodations for cooking in kitchen as well. Mary Ann was very hospitable and a great communicator upon arrival. Would love to make this place a regular stop for our family. "

"We are a group of 80 year old long time friends. We have been spending several days together each October for the past 20 some years. Shabby Chic was the perfect house! We each had our own room and common area was perfect. Kitchen accommodated multiple cooks. We plan on a return trip next year!Vashon is truly beautiful. "

"We stayed here for 2 weeks while our home was being renovated. We enjoyed the sunrise every morning over breakfast, and moonrise every evening over dinner. We watched otters, seals, sea lions, and one day there were whales passing in front. The house is cozy and comfortable and we greatly enjoyed our stay."

"Absolutely beautiful view and gorgeous house. Idyllic location to reset and recharge. The only think I would recommend is making sure you bring food with you. Local shopping is a bit limited for groceries and only one pizza place delivers. It's a beautiful place and the manager is very accommodating. We extended our stay twice! We will definitely be back! "
