Ultimately this was such a cool place to stay. The location is great if you want to hit the tourist traps or even better is enjoying the local spots close by. The bed was clean, bathroom had good space, and the rooms were a great temperature. On the down side the WiFi was very spotty in our rooms, and the old carpet might turn some people off. However this served as a fantastic home base for our three night stay, I will go back.

You get what you pay for here. The location is great and the air conditioning worked for our entire stay while it was very hot here. However, the beds were incredibly small - 6ft tall person's legs hang off the bottom and the "blanket" is just a bed sheet. Shower doesn't drain, and mold everywhere. But for a very short stay, with expectations fairly established, it works

Fairly easy check in. Ok distance walk to Venice. AC does not keep up - needs more air flow to keep temperature fairly cool. Room fairly clean, but VERY dates and things broken (TV, shower stall leaks, windows don’t open well to get breeze) decent check in, shows you to your room.

The hotel is nothing like the pictures on Expedia. The location is great but the room was very old and not maintained properly at all. The WiFi didn’t work and one of the beds had no frame it was just a mattress on the floor. A positive was that the bedding was clean and it was a safe and convenient area

Can be a bit confusing to know where to check in, as the address given to you is not where the reception is. I understand that Venice is literally in water but the condition of the rooms are musty, moldy, and old. House keeping does a good job but there is definitely mold and grime in the bathroom, with the carpets in the rooms being discolored and making the room feel off-putting. There is air-conditioning but it does not help, it may be 'centralized' but it just makes the room feel hotter, in fact it is cooler outside. Despite the hotel being kinda bad though, the area can't be beat. Easy access to the water transport to get to San Marco and San Polo very quickly! The restaurants nearby are extremely expensive but getting into the main center of Venice is very easy so getting good, valuable food, is manageable. There is a good grocery store nearby and Dorsoduro is a good quiet neighborhood in comparison to the other high foot traffic areas in Venice.

Cheap stopover

Cheap stay in Venice to get a connecting flight elsewhere. You get what you pay for with this hotel. It's a little tired and shabby but it was perfectly clean, the service was excellent and my stay was nothing like some of 5he fantastic horror stories on Google.

Budget friendly hotel

The walls are a little thin and in room 2 I could hear the restaurant and reception area. Take ear plugs but staff very friendly the restaurant staff very nice too.

Run down property. Not as described on listing: missing tv and no connecting rooms. Old and poorly maintained. Allergies probably caused from mould. Small confined space for a family of 5. No kettle, no wifi, no tea/coffee, no chair, no table, broken hairdryer and lots of mosquitoes. Only 5 beds in a room that feels claustrophobic. Reception is useless.
