“During our Route 66 road trip, my husband and I tried to stay in hotels along Route 66 and hotels that weren't chain hotels. This property is not very well maintained. We had to change rooms as soon as we checked in because the draperies that covered a large window were broken. The hotel also had a strong marijuana odor. We learned the next day that half of the hotel is a long-term residence and that is where the odor was coming from.”

Quiet area of town. 35 minutes from Springfield & in close proximity to St. Louis. Indeed a place to relax! Highly recommend! This place is a gem in Raymond.”

“Oh my word this place is incredible. Bed was comfortable great location and the original aspects of the old building brought up to date with modern convenience. I think Jennifer and I will be getting more acquainted because I have a hard time finding a decent place to stay when I come to my hometown to visit. Carlinville is good little town close to my hometown and made attending my best friends wedding in Gillespie a breeze. We will be back.”
