Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is helpful, and the hotel is conveniently located close to some great restaurants and island excursions. While it may not have the bells and whistles of nearby options, it has a pool, a great continental breakfast, and EVERY room is ocean-view."

"We had a simply amazing stay here in Kauai. Ilse The owner is extremely communicative and had great recommendations. The property is super clean, and appeared a brand new AC unit had been added in living space and one in the bedroom that cools the space very well if AC is a typical worry you won’t have that problem here! The apartment was well appointed with everything you would need for beach trips (a tube some boogey boards and some beach chairs, along with fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Really a great location too with many restaurants within walking distance or just a short drive away. If we come back to Kauai we would certainly look into properties that she owns. The view really says it all!"

"It was within walking distance to coconut marketplace. Everything I needed was very close by. Only thing we didn’t like was there were no elevators and the stairways could use some sweeping/cleaning."

"Loved the Kauai Shores. Very convenient since it’s centrally located on the island. If parking is tight, they have complementary valet. Loved the beach front access. We ate at Lava Lava one night and it was delicious. The bikes were also a plus! Wished there was better room cleaning, especially if you’re staying for over 3 or 4 nights. They still provided clean towels or anything we needed by request. We’d definitely stay again. Thanks for a great stay! "
