We got a room overlooking the river and garden. The room was very nice and updated. It came with a refrigerator and microwave, which is always handy to have. Easy access to the room from the parking lot. The view was beautiful. You can ask for a non-pets room if you are severely allergic. We didn't know this, and we both have some allergies, but the room was clean and we didn't notice it at all (assuming pets had been in the room).

This place is 110+ years old and really a delight to stay in because they haven't changed things very much. Gives you a snapshot of how hotels operated a century ago.

Great stay. Very luxurious , innkeeper had thought of everything. Great bed, great breakfast. Wished we had planned to stay longer.

Hot tub was out of order

We were made to feel very welcome. Cookies on the table and coffee delivered when we arrived. wonderful room and breakfast was fantastic. We will go back to stay again. Friendly staff

The check-in process was quick and the staff was very friendly and professional. Our room was clean and the temperature in the room was right where we wanted it to be. The breakfast far exceeded our expectations and was amazing. The staff member that was in charge of the breakfast was friendly and he offered to make us things that they were out of even though it was close to the end of breakfast. He also apologized for things taking a bit to be refilled/restocked as he was the only one working...

Great location on the river

We got in late and check in was still fairly Easy We had a phone call a few days prior to ensure we understood the noone under 18 rule in bath house or pool . Which was fine as we had the room with hot tub anyway. Our room was dated but they were in the process of refreshing rooms, new flooring and furniture was being unpacked as we departed. Location location. This property has such an outstanding view of river, dam, city scape and sunset that it becomes a destination in itself. Comfort bed in nice room with said view. Small breakfast nook with standard continental breakfast fare. Outside seating area with great views. Driveway potholed and jarring. This likely keeps speeds down to the benefit of the homes along the down hill side

Beautiful place

The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. There is also an amazing coffee shop on premises!

We stay here numerous times throughout the year. The couple who manages/owns/runs this cute little place are truly some of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. Thanks for another great stay!! We will be back!

Would stay again despite a slightly unprofessional check-in by a trainee. No biggie. A beautiful place and a good value.

Fun old hotel right downtown and easy walking to to shopping and dinning. Since it’s old, there are a good number of outside noises (cars, people, ghosts, etc..) bring ear plugs.

This place is amazing. They treat you like family from the moment you arrive. Truly, a special place to stay.

I was so excited to stay here. We only got one night because it was booked all other nights but MAN I FELL IN LOVE.
