“My husband and I came for a relaxing getaway weekend. The home was charming and comfortable. The location couldn’t be better! We sat by the fire pit watching the sunset over the water and even did a little fishing from the shore. The property owners were nice as can be and very attentive to our needs. We will be visiting again!”

“This location was more than I had expected. I was wary at first, just because of never using VRBO before. Cabin 3 was a perfect get away for my husband and I. Zen at the Palms is a perfect name for this beautiful oasis. We weren't bothered by critters or humans. The hot tub, outside sitting area, grill and fire pit were very nice. There were many locations near to explore and plenty of store locations as well such as Walmart, still leaving you with a country feel. Not too close but also not too……

“I needed a little break from my everyday, and found this adorable little cabin by the lake. It’s just what I needed to breakaway, unwind, de-stress and relax. The cabin was just as described and just what I needed. I had a question about something and the owner was quick to respond and assist. Would definitely recommend this location for a personal getaway or a couples retreat. Thank you! ”

“We went with our 11 year old daughter and the location was perfect. Had manatees right up at the dock, accommodations were clean, and relaxing. We brought our boat and it was a little tough with the tidal changes but we made it work. The canoe provided was the better was to explore and we added our trolling motor. Overall, amazing trip and would recommend the place.”

“Quiet spot not too far from Homosassa and Crystal River. 4 friendly dogs on the property that are within the fenced in area of the Southwest Cottage. There is another cottage/rental on the property but it across the property past the horse barn (the 2 horses love carrots) and not visible from the Southwest Cottage. Host lives on the property and was friendly and quickly responded to questions and any issues.Clean, simple accommodations for two people, would stay again.”

“Absolutely LOVE this place!! Meet the owner, Ollie??, as we were packing our things. Had a great conversation about the place/area. It's super quiet and beautiful property. Our dog Lulu made friends with wild tamed hogs. Everything was provided on the property. I think next time we'll bring a smaller boat because we ran the ground a few times. Oops. Overall, we had a great time! Thank you!”

“Property was great! Two bedroom/1 bath was the perfect amount of space for hubby and me. We kayaked one day and rented a pontoon on another. Will be back to stay at the main house with daughter and grandson. Clean apartment on second floor with appropriate amenities. Privacy was acceptable between the apartment and main house. The river is gorgeous. We came a little late for prime manatee season but now we know better. Thank you for the peace and serenity of Manatee Cove. ”
