“The surrounding area looks economically depressed and we had some initial concerns about safety. Check in was easy. We were provided with two keys for the front door and room door. The house is well maintained and in keeping with original design. We stayed in the wine and roses room which is next door to the kitchen. If you like to sleep in, this is not the room for you due to breakfast noise. The breakfast was good and timely. There was a hot option (bread pudding and chicken and herb sausage)……

I have traveled 3rd world countries that were better than this. the room stunk. the halls were worse. the pool was green and had things growing in it. it has not been useable for a very long time. there is wiring run exposed everywhere. when you ask the staff for something they ack as if you are putting them out. the homeless that are walking around the place wouldn't stay there.”
