Stayed for 7 nights - super spa facilities - indoor to outdoor large swimming pool with lap pool and 3 hot tubs. Lounge area had great atmosphere and breakfast restaurant had very wide choice of delicious food. By the Blackcomb lift so door to door skiing and a shirt 10 minute walk to Whistler village if required. Would definitely stay here again.

Fairmont Chalet in Whistler

Pros: I was especially impressed by the delicious vegan entree at the Mallard restaurant (the curry dish). This makes a huge difference to vegan travelers.
Cons: I wish I had been told in advance that there's a place to valet skis, poles and boots downstairs without lugging them through the lobby.
Location: So close to the base of Blackcomb Mt. Couldn't have been more convenient!
I loved this hotel! The staff was courteous and helpful. The lounge and restaurant (Mallard restaurant) on the main floor was terrific--delicious food and great live music; very fun vibe. The gym was fully stocked and (open til 11 pm); the multiple jacuzzis, including one outdoors in winter, was a welcome spot at night. The art gallery store downstairs was also awesome!

I have stayed in this hotel before. Great location but, next time will stay in Whistler willage. For two reasons: Fairmont Igor unreasonably expensive. Whistler seems like better ski condition.

Overall the hotel experience was nice. They have hot spas, heated pools and saunas working during our January visit which made our getaway very pleasurable. Hotel room is nothing worth spending almost $500 per night though cause it feels like a typical hotel. Not bad but way overpriced.

Pros: All inclusive.
Cons: The only thing I would change is the parking fee was $40 per night ($36 if you self park), and we didn't need our car for the 4 days we were there. I
Location: Ski, eat and shop and the most amazing slopes and local pubs.
Excellent hotel with all the amenities to walk out the back door and ski. Ski rentals. direct access to slopes, food an shops. I liked the fact that we had to walk to the major shopping area because it was a beautiful walk with holiday lights in the tree on a beautiful and safe path.

Fairmont "sleighs" Christmas!

Pros: Service and all the christmas themed activities
Cons: nothing
Location: nearby offers dog sledding, ziplining, snowmobile tours, in addition to skiing/ snowboarding.
If you want to do Christmas right, there is no other place than Fairmont Chateau Whistler. You will be treated to treats every day from maid-service, Santa & Mrs Clause, gala dinners, fun activities for kids, decorations and more! Of course the service is excellent, as with all Fairmonts, the food was particularly good at all the on-site restaurants, and I can see why so many people make this place their annual tradition.
