“We stayed in room 17, parrot room. Very large space. TV was obscured by 4 poster bed frame, would be better above mantle. The room is by the front door, and the room above must be wooden floored as we heard a lot of footsteps/lpud thuds on the ceiling. We paid £3 for a parking permit for the W zone, but didnt find a parking space so ended up at the leisure centre - 10 min walk away Bed was comfy, but very soft. Pillows need replacing. “There will be free ticket for whitby abbey. The building is nice and historical. Many facilities for guests to use. I like the drinking water the most.
